I have been ordering Dominican cakes from Vilma's for a couple of years now and they're always delicious and beautiful. I love that even though you ask for an elaborate design, the cake is always moist and exquisite.

The bakery is super cute and welcoming. I picked up my birthday cake and absolutely fell in love with what it looked like. When we got home and cut into it, it was so fresh and delicious. Not overly sweet, the frosting was perfect nice and soft and not too sugary. Inside we had the dulce de leche and it was perfect. Loved this cake and the bakery!

My wife was in Haverstraw earlier today and knows how much I like tres leches cake. She stopped by Vilma's Bakery and picked me up a slice. She also got a couple of dulce de leche cookies for our daughters. She told me that they had a nice selection of desserts and the workers were nice. I waited until after dinner to enjoy the cake. It ended up being a perfect dessert. One of the best tres leches cake slices I've had. The cake was tender and perfectly moist from the three "milks". The icing was tasty, the "milks" themselves had a nice flavor to them. (Perhaps some warm spices) A very enjoyable dessert. My daughters really enjoyed the cookies as well. The prices were very reasonable. I will certainly return to Vilma's Bakery!

Hands down one of the most delicious & beautiful cakes I have ever had. They were able to capture my vision at an extremely moderate price. One part of my order was accidentally left at the bakery, an employee went as far as personally delivering it to my home. I highly recommend this bakery!

Had I not gone to the Haverstraw food crawl today, I'd never have know about this wonderful bakery. It was packed with people and goodies, and after tasting the treats I brought home, I know why! It's not only a sweet bakery but savory too. Empanadas, kipe (I think that's how it's spelled), cakes, cookies, flan, meringues, even fresh juices - and all of it very reasonably priced. The young lady that helped me was so patient, explained everything to me and answered any questions I had. It was definitely worth the wait and I can't wait to go back. Not pictured were the items I ordered because they fell over in the car and leaked all over lol..chocolate flan (there was also the regular option), dulce de leche tres leche cup (they also had strawberry or chocolate), bread pudding and a Napoleon (I got the classic but they also had slices with dulce de leche).

Amazing cakes and great customer service! Beautiful work!! They designed it exactly how I asked and on short notice! I'm so happy with service I received.
